In my perspective.. To let a model trust you and believe in you.. One should let the model decide for some creative ideas & take regular feedbacks.. It would help encourage both parties & develop a positive outlook during the shoot..

Hire a professional model and they direct you. It's important to have models work within their comfort zones and as a director it's our job to elevate the things they do well and hide the things they don't. If you don't see it in the casting process you won't see it the day of the shoot.

-Working with a Luxury Brand who caters to its business majorly through online social platforms, Campaign shoots, events, etc, that has shown me the evidence of how it comforts the model, it clearly reflects in the clicks. -It is not always mandatory that however the brand wants to reflect its image through the model is ideal, but actually it's not a good deal. Before selecting any models, see what their genre is, how they are comfortable to shoot in, and what their thoughts are. -Model is not an object to put anything for showcase but a major subject of the photos, it will always be realistic when a model is aware about the brand, it connects the model with the brand. Be real, be authentic. -Comfort the model by exchanging the shoot ideas.

To capture authentic emotions, build trust with your model by creating a comfortable atmosphere, communicating clearly, and encouraging natural expression.

One of my favorite assignments I always gave to my students was a portrait with two people because I love capturing the interactions, inner dynamics especially of couples, candid and unposed to capture their relationship intricacies. The subtle issues that underlie any intimate relationships between couples, siblings especially older couples who’ve shared years of intimacy together. Rather thank taking frontal posed shots I instead allow them to interact and photograph them intermittently for a long time to capture their unique connections. I’m fascinated by intimacy and how it manifests in every couple of partners, friends and siblings. This is one of my favorite subjects to photograph.
