La théorie n'est pas forcement la première étape pour accepter un algorithme. C'est une approche TOP BOTTOM ou théorie vers utilisation. Pour moi, l'approche BOTTOM TOP, cas d'utilisation vers théorie est plus adapté. Pourquoi ? Parce que cela est plus naturel, un algorithme est utilisé pour gérer un cas d'utilisation, nous sommes bien d'accord. Donc l'approche BOTTOM TOP permet de s'appuyer sur le cas d'utilisation pour dégager les contraintes et les caractéristiques du cas d'utilisations. Chaque progression dans la démarche explicative du choix d'un algorithme pourra s'appuyer sur ces contraintes et caractéristiques pour confirmer les choix de l'étape. Le lien avec le concret est donc plus facile à faire.

Dans un problème non conventionnelle, il est utile d'avoir un outils pour visualiser ou explorer les caractéristique et l'environnement du problème a résoudre. C'est un moyen de confirmer la bonne gestion du problème et c'est aussi un moyen de comprendre le problème quand aucune solution algorithmique n'est mise à jour. C'est en quelques sortes un équivalent d'un debugger !

La simplification du code est obligatoire. Reste à savoir comment faire ? Pour cela, une méthode simple peut être appliquée : le chemin de l'octet ! Le chemin de l'octet permet de noter toutes les apparitions et la forme d'apparition utile ou non utile d'une information. Un algorithme de plus court chemin dans les étapes d'apparition permet de simplifier le code. Les commentaires ne sont pas forcement une aide utile. L'essentiel est le nommage des variables et des méthodes qui doivent être le principal vecteur de la documentation. L'exemple présenté est flagrant d'une redondance : le code suffit a lui meme.

Simplicité informatique : quand vous voyez un code, un algorithme non fluide, vous devez vous dire qu'il doit exister un meilleur chemin dans la suite des instructions de résolutions du problème. Simplicité organisationnelle : quand une équipe est nombreuse, quand les responsabilités sont mal définie, quand les choix sont des compromis, vous pouvez être sur d'aller vers des situations non optimales dans les choix, les fa?ons de faire et les résultats. Simplicité de mise en ?uvre : la mise en ?uvre est compliquée, lente, délicate : il existe une meilleure fa?on de faire. Avec le graphe des opérations nécessaires à la mise en ?uvre, vous trouverez un meilleur chemin ou vous mettrez en évidence d'autres incohérences.
