I have recenly been famiar with CFR tools. It is the abbreviation of: conversation; ffedback and review. It is a good tool in motivating team members. Try the process of routine and daily conversation among them. Conversation about work related issues. Then try to learn them how they can honesty give feedback to each other in a radical condor manner. Then based on that; learn them review about thier goals and action plans. Use CFR method and it will increase team motivation.

I once had a problem with low motivation in my team. I had a simple idea. I had recently won a "cafeteria voucher" in a quiz. Instead of spending the money for my lunch, I decided to invest it and buy ice cream for my team. We went there all together, as a team and enjoyed the break. It was the first time we could be all together for about 30 minutes, chit chatting and enjoying our ice cream. That helped to build morale and give a bit extra motivation. It was great to see everyone with a smile on their face!
