Teams and performances often collapse due to the lack of appreciation. Do it often and do it periodically so that the team members feel like they are contributing to something and are happy bringing their best selves to work everyday. To make it more valuable, get a third party to congratulate them monthly. It could be a senior leader from a cross functional team or someone from the management team. When appreciation and recognition comes from unexpected quarters, it helps keep the morale high.

In my experience the best way to support team is to make them understand how important is to get the pending actionable done from partner. Support them by enhancing communication skills.they should set the clear expectation for partners. Terms of deliverables , timelines. Provide necessary training related to deal with partner or vendor to your team members And most important they should have good connect with vendor.do regular follow up .

Many a time, teams tend to work in silos and often lose out on a lot of peer learning. If you happen to see someone across different teams doing a task in a more efficient manner, do reach out to that person and ask if he or she would be willing to share their expertise on the subject. Make your team open and receptive to learning from all quarters. Make it a recurring exercise where you get your team to learn from someone on the outside. Also make it a point to ask your team to share their learnings with the larger teams so as to get validated in their doings. This continuous cycle of learning and would them inspired.
