I would like to have different view that others... Why don't you start with your team doing research regarding macro and macro economics driving the business you are currently in. then try to use porters 5 forces to understand the your current standing in the business when you consider industry. Find out entry barriers exit barriers, leverages and the MOAT's you have. This will help them understand the gens of your company and how to play on your strength. Now comes the part of execution where you want to involve them and take ownership in executions. Try to have brainstorming session and let them explain their views and actionable items which is required for execution of strategy and trust me you don't have to explain them this again
