There are so many right answers to this question and I feel the best one is to be authentic and acknowledge your team the way you would like to feel at the end of the day. It is important not just to congratulate your team on a job well done but to also acknowledge that sometimesa team can have pretty great ideas and they just didn't pan out. Instead, focus on what we did solve and can solve. Be present and know that your teams' efforts and thought leadership when deadlines are tight is just as important as that big win. Every day focusing on what is accomplished and being able to discuss the tough elephant in the room with respect goes a long way boosting morale and earning trust.

"Thank you" goes a long way. Saying thank you and including their manager, mentor, or other team members goes even farther. Making the "thank you" specific can really have an impact, in my experience. I'll never forget the manager, early in my career, who made it a point to thank me at the end of my first day on the job for helping with a specific activity. It makes a difference and stays with you over time.

I understand how disheartening it can feel when your #HardWork seems to go unnoticed. It's crucial to ensure that efforts are recognized and valued as they should be. To highlight specific #achievements or the dedication, #management has to make concerted efforts to acknowledge these moments more frequently. This could include tangible rewards such as bonuses or additional time off for consistently outstanding performance. Individual contributions are vital to the team's success, even if it's not always explicitly stated. Please know that your hard work does not go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated by your team. Continue to strive together, knowing that each of you plays an essential role in the collective achievements.

It's actually so simple: meaningfully interact with the work that your team is doing. This means that you are providing regular feedback, which includes specific praise and constructive criticism. Sometimes, it's better to provide some criticism than no feedback at all. Research has shown that people are even willing to work for less monetary rewards if their efforts are noticed. So if you want to increase productivity without cutting into your margins, just take some time to interact with your team. Encourage behaviours you want to see more of, and correct actions you want to reduce.

Acknowledge their contributions publicly, offer specific praise in team meetings, provide timely feedback, and involve them in decision-making to show their value.
