To help a burnt-out team member while maintaining productivity, consider these approaches: 1. Have an open, empathetic conversation to understand their specific challenges and stressors. 2. Temporarily redistribute or reprioritize their workload to alleviate pressure. 3. Encourage them to take short breaks during the day to recharge. 4. Offer flexible working hours or remote work options if possible. 5. Provide resources for stress management, like access to counseling services. 6. Review their tasks and see if any can be automated or streamlined. 7. Pair them with a mentor or buddy for additional support. 8. Recognize & appreciate their efforts. 9. Ensure they're taking their allotted time off. 10. Lead by example with work-life balance.

Some ways to help them: 1. Have a vulnerable conversation on why they’re facing burnout and stress 2. Be empathetic, hear them out and come up with practical solutions on how you can reduce or share the load 3. Suggest them certain techniques on how they can deal with stress, what could be a few techniques 4. Help them focus and center around things that are in their control and let go of things which aren’t under their control 5. Equip them with the necessary time management tools

If you come across a team member who is burnt out & struggling, then start by checking their comfort level for a conversation. If yes, then hear them out & ask targeted questions to find out the root cause regarding their problems. In case you have a solution handy, provide the same, else go ahead & suggest things which can prove to be useful for them. Another scenario could be where this person is not open to having a dialogue with you, provide the context to a team member or trusted person who has an existing rapport & would be able to help with the relevant guidance.

*Be all ears to understand the concern and deeper cause of burnout and stress. *offer help as per your capacity *support them to navigate the situation without anxiety *make them aware of the relevance and importance of time management, delegation, prioritising the task, setting "SMART" short term and long term goals
