The best quote I have ever heard a more senior manager to me have, is “no risk, no fun”. And this is so true. If you don’t push boundaries and take some risk, change will happen to slowly for you to beat the competition. Fostering a culture where failure doesn’t equal blame is critical of course, if you are building a culture where risk is appreciated.
