The kind of clientele that my Clinic typically sees is the overseas diaspora, which comes to India for dental treatment. In and around Diwali, Christmas, and then when there is the global summer vacation - June, July & early August. My team, which is lead by Laxman, who is with me for the last 20 years has created a calendar of events and todo activities. They know it is their A game on during “season time” Inventory management, the maintenance of the sophisticated dental chair is an equipment All of it has to precede the peak time. I have to be lenient and overlook some of their absenteeism otherwise. The team now knows that such indulgences are not permitted during predicted high volume work days

Even more important is for management to step in and assist with escalations, provide timely responses to the support team, and build rapport with clients to encourage patience while the support team works very hard to resolve cases.

This is a time to focus on the morale of your team and show them that their leaders are invested just as much as those who are carrying the heaviest load and not just barking orders at them. This tactic will show those workers that they are part of a team and motivate them towards success, rather than just laborers working in a rock mine.
