Development of a robust pre-qualification process is key. Measure lagging indicators such as EMR, TRIR, DART, and other metrics head of time. Vet each sub and filter to only hire the best/safest.

It start from the beginning when choosing the subcontractors to go back and look at their history and then to include specific safety requirements in contracts and make compliance a condition of payment. Provide regular safety training and incentivize safety through bonuses for accident-free periods. Conduct frequent inspections and enforce immediate consequences for non-compliance. Promote a culture of safety by leading by example, maintaining open communication, and establishing clear reporting mechanisms. La responsabilidad del cuidado de las personas es de todos independiente del tipo de contratación. Exigir sin discriminar si se trata de personal propio o contratado, debido a que todos estarán trabajando en pro del crecimiento de la empresa y el valor que aportarán con su tarea los hará crecer como empresa. Cada trabajo debe ser dirigido y auditado por los responsables asignados y respetados todos los procedimientos establecidos. Sin lugar a dudas la capacitación firmara un rol importante, logrando que en poco tiempo las personas puedan absorber la cultura de seguridad de la empresa madre.

If you know you are putting a superintendent on a job give them the plans let them study sometimes the low number is not the best option especially in structural trades literally just got done struggling to get concrete done before steel such a stressful situation
