I do not recommend having an “IT Strategy Team”. Your IT strategy is formed of varied ambitions, drivers, constraints and goals. No one “team” is the author of your response to this environment. Rather you, as a leader, help your teams (plural) to assess the right path for their respective areas of responsibility. And put in place the mechanisms to negotiate at the intersections and to monitor and adjust the strategy as it unfolds.
