1. Pay Attention and Give Recognition: Gain insight into their viewpoint and the motivations behind their inquiry. 2. Describe Prioritization: Outline the impact of high-priority items and discuss how the existing priorities fit with the company's objectives. 3. Provide Alternatives: Make concessions like implementing the feature gradually or including it in a later version. 4. Use Data: Disseminate user input or data that helps determine which features should come first. 5. Follow Up: Make sure there is constant contact and bring up the low-priority feature in subsequent talks.

I would start by hearing them out fully - you might have a perspective that it is important to hear out the other party just in case it uncovers something new. Once you have heard them out, explain your rationale on why you feel the feature should be a low priority - it could be a lower impact, lower user base touched/ catered, extremely expensive to build, etc. Back your thoughts with data (usage data, analytics, estimates, user feedback, etc.) - this will help you sound more objective. Don't close the door - tell the stakeholder that you will try and build the feature in an upcoming release and try and give a tentative schedule.

This requires empathy and clear communication. Actively listening to understand their perspective and the reasons behind their insistence can help boost your strategic thinking. You can proceed to then share data on how prioritizing this feature could impact the overall project timeline and budget, using relatable examples to illustrate your point. You could offer alternatives, such as a phased approach to implement the feature later or suggesting a simpler version that meets their needs without derailing progress. Reiterate the project’s main objectives to ensure alignment and help them see how focusing on higher-priority features better supports the overall vision.

Firstly understand the POVs and do some research based on their POV and compare with high priority feature and dependability. Analyze the cost, resource, and forecasting data and communicate thoroughly to the stakeholders. Highlight the product path and pivoting structure in case of adopting low-priority features. Provide alternatives to balance out the things and execute the things Continuously monitor and evaluate the results.
