I would "simply" not except a pre-determined deadline change. This might work different in different markets I presume, but in our field, which is packaging design, deadlines are set beforehand and the entire process if fixed to this deadline. If the client than moves the deadline up, you have to be strong and decline. I hear to much companies that just except everything from clients... because otherwise they will go to another.... Well, let them. Our service and process is very important in the complete brand creation, which cannot just change. This would mean we can not achieve the excellence and quality we stand for as an agency, so it is not worth it for us if this is overseen by a client. They can go elsewhere. The deadline stays.

If my project deadline is moved up, I’ll prioritize the most critical tasks, streamline my workflow, and focus on delivering a working solution. I'll also consider leveraging tools or methods that boost efficiency, communicate with my team for faster collaboration, and adapt quickly to any necessary changes.

1. Rephrase the goal and what success will look like under the new circumstances. 2. Prioritise - What is critical? What can be postponed/deferred? What can be cut? Do we need (to adjust) intermediate milestones? Can we identify quick wins? 3. Resources ( people, technology,…) : - Can existing resources engage more? - Do we add new or other resources? - Where are bottlenecks? Identify efficiencies - Think outside of the box 4. Communicate!!

Time is not necessarily the key variable to come up with 'game changing solutions" for a project. Instead, it may be a hinderance as a group may float knowing that they have months to generate necessary ideas and solutions to a problem. To be sure, it is more likely the 'state of mind' that is key to find innovative solutions given the necessary expertise is already present to find a solution. Accordingly, what is most key is the 'right process' or system is in place to generate innovative ideas and solutions and collaboration with relevant peers to share ideas to solve the common problem. Thus, developing a system up front will ensure timely solutions and best ideas as opposed to just having excess time to find solutions....

1. Prioritize high impact task . 2. Leverage team strengths. 3. Simplify ideas 4. Iterate quickly to deliver innovative results effectively
