It is a common issue faced by employees in companies but every issue has a solution when it is address properly. Always document your work keep record of it. Try to get noticed by your work, to the higher management. work on work presentation skills and interpersonal skills to stand out Act smartly, convey message to person politely and tell him importance of team work, by relevant story telling.

I guess this is temporary. My strategy is to continue the good work, irespective of whether I am recognized or not. After all, even if my peer takes the credit it is our team. In the long run you will be recognized for what you are.
