These are the top steps I take to correct: - A thorough understanding of the brand's core TG and our existing target audience for the Ads. At times we make the mistake of making target audiences which are too narrow, these days algorithm are so powerful that they know which audience to target. Do keeping it broad helps at times. - Creative strategy: Metrics like CTR are good indication of whether the creative strategy is working. Videos are typically the best performing creative format, hence it is recommended to use videos specially in the top and mid funnel - Do more creative and Ad copy testing - Landing pages: there has to be consistency between the expectations set by the Ad and what the landing page says

Digital ads need to constantly tweaked basis as performance. Once you learn how viewers are receiving your ads, tailor them for each viewer group / personas, making them feel relevant and personalise the content doe each group/ segment based on their preferences. Remind interested users with offers they can’t resist so that they keep coming back with retargeting ads ensuring CTA. eg. Insta ads keep popping up on your feed with the same product you engaged with or similar products that will peak your interest. Make sure you simplify and speed up your landing page when the customer comes to it for conversions and have a clean UI/UX that navigates and provides a clean checkout journey for the user.

Shift to an adaptive ad strategy—treat every ad as a living experiment. Use micro-campaigns to test new formats, messages, and visuals in real time, letting data shape the next iteration. Integrate AI-powered insights to predict shifts in audience behavior and automate optimizations. Lean into moment marketing—align your ads with trending topics or events for relevance. When your ads evolve with the market, they don’t just meet expectations—they set new ones.

If your digital ads aren’t meeting expectations, start by analyzing the data to find where performance is lacking. Test new creatives, adjust audience targeting, and explore additional platforms. Small changes can make a big difference, and diversifying your strategy will help you stay competitive.
