Most of the big events always have a backup plan ready as an emergency situation can be faced by anyone. If a keynote speaker or chief guest cancels the visit then we always have guest of honour. For panel discussions we can always have 4-5 experts including the moderator and a rapporteur of session so that discussion remains meaningful. We also can have relevant videos always ready as fillers. The audience needs to be honestly told about the reason for the changes it always works.

I promptly connect digitally to my attendees and I always have a plan B speaker ready so I update the attendees accordingly. I also have myself always clamatised and well versed with the topics of the speakers so as to take the role when required to do so....
