As important as encrypting your data is, it is equally important who has access to the encryption key. Is the key static or is a unique key generated for each session? Is the key the same for all clients? Does the server host have access to that key?

Usar algoritmos de curva elíptica para el cifrado, hará mucho más segura la transferencia o transmisión de datos a través de medios inseguros, como lo es la red de Internet. Aplicar criptografía asimétrica hará mucho más robusto el cifrado de esos datos.

El dato tiene tres estados, en reposo, en movimiento y en uso. En este caso al que se refiere "Almacenamiento seguro" es un dato que está en reposo, pero cuando decimos que está seguro se hace referencia a que se está cumpliendo con ciertas normativas y recomendaciones para que el dato no sea robado o alterado. Es decir que se cumpla la confidencialidad y la integridad. Ambos principios se cumplen utilizando mecanismos de cifrado.
