Limiting beliefs are based on experiences, and often unconsciously accepted as truths. I would focus on helping clients reframe these limiting filters by reconnecting them with their core values. I could also encourage clients to imagine scenarios where these beliefs do not exist. These visualizations may help them tap into a sense of freedom and possibility, making the change feel real and achievable.

To help a client break free from limiting beliefs, start with empathy and powerful questions. ***First, encourage them to voice these beliefs, uncovering the fears or experiences behind them. ***Then, challenge each belief gently: ask, “What evidence supports this?” or “How might life look if this wasn’t true?” ***Introduce reframing exercises, guiding them to see alternative perspectives. For instance, a client doubting their abilities can be prompted to recall past successes. ***Set small, confidence-building actions that test new beliefs in safe ways. Over time, these steps shift their mindset, turning old limits into launching pads. Real growth starts by rewriting the stories we tell ourselves.

First of all, I think that this is not can only be the case with the client but with us coaches as well. My first step is to reflect back what I have just heard from the client with his/her own words. Then ask: if you'd hear this from someone else what was your first thought? Also, this is one version, what other cases or scenarios could you think of? When we see more than one option in front of us, we then can start believing that the World can be seen through as many glasses as many we are on this Planet.

In my life coaching sessions, I guide clients in identifying and dismantling limiting beliefs that hold them back. I begin by fostering self-awareness, helping clients recognize thought patterns that undermine their confidence. Through evidence-based techniques, I encourage clients to challenge these beliefs, reframing them into empowering perspectives. I also use personalized exercises, such as journaling and guided visualization, to strengthen self-worth and instill a mindset of growth. My empathetic yet results-driven approach enables clients to step out of self-imposed boundaries, moving confidently toward their goals. I hope this helps :)
