When a client resists change, I’d focus on building trust and understanding their perspective deeply. By exploring their values, fears, and past experiences, I can identify underlying concerns. I’d use motivational interviewing to encourage self-reflection, and set small, achievable goals to build confidence gradually. Celebrating small wins helps them see progress without feeling overwhelmed, creating a supportive path forward that respects their pace.

4. Proposer des actions graduelles sans le brusquer.

Help them feel safe and listen deeply. Resistance to change is a sign that their unconscious self (Inner Child) is fearful of the change. As a Coach, your awareness of your own resistance to change is essential… you can only meet your client at the level of your own healing and transformation! When you are in a neutral place, use the Ho’noponopono statements to help your client ease into the healing: I’m so sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you. As you hold the energy of love, your client will tune into their emotions at a deeper level. As emotions flow, awareness will occur. When emotions feel unsafe, be patient… hold the space for healing and trust the process. Deep healing takes time. ????

Delve into the reasons behind the client's resistance. Are they afraid of failure? Do they lack confidence or feel uncertain about the outcomes? By exploring their fears and hesitations, you can tailor your coaching to address these specific concerns.Clients who resist change often feel alone in their fears. Normalize their experience by acknowledging that fear of change is common and helping them see that resistance is a natural part of the growth process.Sometimes, resistance is rooted in a negative perception of change. Help the client reframe change as a positive opportunity for growth, rather than something threatening or destabilizing.
