?? To help a client take ownership of their actions, consider this structured approach: ?? Clarify Expectations: Start by setting clear goals and responsibilities, inspired by "The Coaching Habit" by Michael Bungay Stanier. ?? Set SMART Goals: Use "Measure What Matters" by John Doerr to create Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound goals. ??♀? Encourage Self-Reflection: Foster growth through regular reflection sessions, drawing from "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success" by Carol S. Dweck. ?? Provide Constructive Feedback: Offer feedback that encourages ownership, using techniques from "Co-Active Coaching" by Henry Kimsey-House et al. #Accountability #LeadershipDevelopment #LifeCoaching

E as possíveis perdas?

I guide clients to self-awareness through reflective questions and co-create actionable steps with accountability measures to promote ownership of their actions.

To help a client take ownership, I emphasize the power of self-reflection and clear consequences. When a client was consistently missing deadlines, I guided them to reflect on the impact of their actions—both personally and professionally. By encouraging them to set their own deadlines and identify potential roadblocks, they felt more in control. Over time, they realized accountability wasn’t about external pressure but about aligning their actions with their goals. This shift led to improved commitment and responsibility.

When a client avoids accountability, it can be challenging. Recently, I faced this with a client who promised a coaching opportunity in exchange for a discount. Despite our previous collaborations, she backed out when it came time to honor our agreement and became defensive when I held her accountable. I realized I needed to take responsibility for my part. Still, I also learned an important lesson: I no longer reduce my rates or shake hands on agreements unless they are formally documented. This ensures clarity and commitment, regardless of past collaborations. Above all, I’ve embraced speaking my truth with love, creating a more respectful coaching environment. Always honor your wisdom! #soulfood
