A personal example is I often find myself being the youngest in business meetings, which can sometimes lead to biases regarding my experience and create doubt. While this perception may be understandable, I focus on demonstrating my value through tangible outcomes by setting clear goals. By consistently delivering results and honoring my commitments, I have been able to make a positive impact and build trust within the partnership. I believe that actions speak louder than age, and I strive to showcase my expertise through the quality of my work and the relationships I cultivate.

This may happen in any competitive environment. The remedy is to stay calm and introspect on what led to this situation, take stock of your strengths, plan and mock practice the discussion that you may have with your partner. Finally when you are prepared enough and confident, seek a meeting with your partner to iron out the issues. Remember… “Success come to the prepared mind”

In such situations, I have found that demonstrating expertise through real output - a demo, a client conversation about the specific area in doubt, investing in a relevant PoC done jointly create impact. A starting point could be sharing of details of the expertise - but the real impact is created through 'show and tell' touchpoints that fosters trust.

You are in a partnership with your partner being sceptical, are you in a right partnership? Nonetheless, if anyone ever doubts your capabilities the problem can be - biasses / perception - clarity in communication regarding your capabilities - or your own lack of detailed plan Key is to have a detailed plan, analysis and actionables with every finer details of controllable and non controllable variables and ideas to handle them in case those variables don’t go as per plan. Build trust and have open communication with acceptance of criticism and ideas. Be ready to answer all doubts with facts and detailed analysis

In such a situation, showcasing past projects executed by me will play a huge part of addressing the doubts of my business partner. Secondly, approaching the new project with confidence will increase trust. Lastly, keeping my business partner abreast of all goings on will do a lot to build further confidence and trust in my abilities.
