In my experience, as we continue to move forward with a hybrid remote work culture, the need for team building innovation has become even more vital, as we have found stagnancy with the traditional methods we once practiced. A company that strives to compete in its sector - must continue to evolve and add value to their client/market through innovation, leadership and sustainability. The environment for which such innovation emerges should be filled with people that trust themselves, their abilities, talents, skills and contributions as well as that of their colleagues. Through my client experiences, I have found that team building works best when it is a part of a company’s fabric geared toward strategic planning.

Firstly anyalyse where you are and where you need to be. Don't make the mistake of just doing this by yourself. It must be done by a seasoned 3rd part person too. Then work on the solutions to the gaps identified. Some of the ways are: 1. Take the relevant training sessions; 2. Watch relevant YouTube videos on strategic management and analysis. See where there is are large viewership with higher rating. Also go through the comments section; 3. Develop a habit of reading relevant books. These offer excellent insights; 4. Do improvement networking with people in strategic roles - CEO's, Executive Managers, senior managers, etc; and 5. Seek membership of relevant organizations such as Australian Institute of Managers & Leaders.
