I have always found that empowering and communicating with staff has helped to open up dialogue and helped to bridge the gap between departments. To build a team effectively, you need to align their Personal, Professional, and Financial goals to the company goals. In 1-1, find out what their goals are and determine what their DRIVE is. Help them see that by hitting the company goals, they can achieve their goals. I have regular meetings with the team to keep cohesion and I also lead by example and assist with the day to day tasks when needed, to show I care and I am in it with them. I also share the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets that the team is held accountable to hit. Those targets are spoken about regularly and are presented as OUR targets to build more unity. I also reward and recognize publicly to show appreciation and increases loyalty
