Here is news: feedback can be more for the feedback-provider than the -receiver. Here is how. When you do not feel seen at work, ask the people you would like to 'see' you to give you specific feedback on the strength you would like them to see, over a period of time. You empower them and they watch. And you will be seen. - From this perspective, it does not matter how useful their actual feedback is. What matters is that they see you.
