You receive conflicting feedback on your design project. How do you navigate the conflicting perspectives?

My perspective consistently consists of trying to explain the entire frame of a project as it is being pitched to the clients/commissioner. When receiving conflicting feedbacks here are three tips I always adhere to: - Stay focused and objective in your judgment. Explain that some elements might not be agreeable to a portion of the feedback-givers, but try to explain to them that we always have their best interests in mind. - If that doesn't work, ask them the specific things they have in mind and how to apply it to the design. Make sure you accommodate them if it suits your design, or if it didn't try to explain to them your considerations. - If that doesn't work either, always remember which side is to benefit the most, use their advice.

When discussing a project to clients , my approach is always to attempt to convey its full scope. I always go by these three rules when I hear challenging ideas: - Keep your assessment objective and focused. Try to convey to them that while some parts might not agree with some feedback givers, we always have their best interests in mind. - Ask them what precise ideas they have in mind and how to incorporate them into the design if they fail to succeed. If it fits your design, be sure that you can accommodate them; alternatively, don't try to explain why you think they're wrong. - If that doesn't work, always keep in mind who stands to gain the most and follow their recommendations.

Revisit the core objectives and user needs that the design is meant to address. Then, assess each piece of feedback in the context of these goals. Prioritize input that best supports the project's objectives and address any concerns by explaining how certain feedback aligns or diverges from these goals.

Analyzing feedback patterns also involves understanding the underlying concerns or trends that may not be immediately apparent. Look for recurring themes or issues that might indicate broader design challenges or opportunities for enhancement. This method helps in pinpointing areas where adjustments could lead to significant improvements, ensuring that your design evolves in a way that addresses common concerns while leveraging collective insights for a more cohesive final product.

Use your logic, apply it to the project at hand and just do your best to produce quality work that fulfills the needs and requirements.
