I work with a lot of NGOs who have users that are not very tech-savvy. I tend to choose tools that are simple to utilize to get initially connected, typically by means of a single link that can be distributed via EMAIL, text, or social media. I favor ZOOM in this regard. ZOOM Pro (non-free, but reasonably priced) has many custom features such as the ability to have waiting rooms and breakout room features. The Chat feature is quite robust and the built-in AI Assistant, that does transcription/note taking and summarization is very useful. MS Teams is quite awkward to use and does not have an AI component (yet). The chat feature(s) are confusing and not easy to access. Google Meet is OK, but is also very awkward to use across devices.

As there are multiple tools that perform this function well, the decisive factor is likely to be integration with the rest of your organization's office software suite. Google Meet would therefore be a logical place to start for a shop that uses Google's office platform, and Microsoft Teams if your company uses mostly Microsoft Office. If your company already uses Slack for messaging, however, I would strongly recommend taking a look at using their platform for remote meetings as well. Any opportunity to have one fewer data silo should be taken seriously.

I really appreciate and have been using the AI Assistant in ZOOM. It provides near-real-time transcription (audio to text) and provides a summary/evaluation at the end of a session. Very useful for note taking.
