Why should you choose Java for web development?

A testament to the capabilities of Java is the Atlassian suite of products, namely Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo CI. Each of them seamlessly integrate with one other and provide a time saving user experience. I could conveniently access Bamboo build results from Jira tickets, link tickets into Confluence documents with real-time updates, and work swiftly without worrying about any of these tools malfunctioning.
