Which video editing software offers the most advanced features for professional video advertising production?

Premiere Pro is top. DeVinci Resolve is another industry standard. Some old pros still prefer Final Cut Pro. I used to love FCP. I actually learned the X and was fine with it. I know live in PP.

Premiere Pro is pretty much industry standard these days. Final Cut Pro lost a LOT of market share when they released X in 2011, because it was pretty pared down and made to look and feel like "iMovie Pro". But don't believe anyone who tells you FCPX is anything less than professional today; they have not been paying attention for the last 10 years. Apple has made significant upgrades year after year and Premiere offers incredible integration with other Adobe products like Photoshop and After Effects, which is awesome. But for rendering speed and overall stability, Final Cut kills Premiere. And if you're doing a lot of color correction, Davinci Resolve has a pretty incredible built-in editor as well.

Adobe Premier Pro is currently the industry standard for professionals. This program offers some of the more advanced features that give us more control over our project. A close second to Premier in terms of quality & features is, DeVinci Resolve.

As others have said, most platforms have built-in color tools. But it's important to know the difference between color correction and color grading. Color correction is the process of "correcting" the footage that comes out of the camera. Maybe you shot in a very flat profile or with very different cameras. Color correction is the process of getting that footage to look closer to natural and unifying it across a project. Color grading is adding a stylistic effect to your footage. Not necessarily anything drastic; might just be a slight change in temperature or a to adjust the mood. In any case, the simpler the workflow, the less control. At the top of the learning curve is DaVinci Resolve, but it's worth it if you're doing a lot with color.

Color plays a serious role for bringing the emotional impact and visual appeal of videos. The right color treatment can significantly enhance your message, evoke specific emotions, and create a lasting impression on your viewers. To achieve this, it's super important to understand and utilize both color correction and color grading effectively, as Jeff Nesmith commented.

Every video editing software out there has some degree of control over audio. I use Final Cut Pro X quite a bit these days, particularly if my in-project audio correction needs are few (clipping). If I'm editing a music video with multi-track audio, then I will use Logic Pro X in conjunction with Final Cut Pro X. Formerly Pro Tools, Logic is my go-to for professional multi-track editing and mixing. On the other hand, if I am editing a single track of audio from an interview, I will usually turn to Adobe Audition, which has incredibly powerful tools for noise reduction, parametric EQ, mastering and converting audio. Since all the Adobe products work well together, in those cases, I'm more likely work with Audition and Premiere Pro together.

At times, I feel that audio is more crucial than video, in a role to evoke the desired emotion. High quality audio will enhance a viewers engagement, convey emotions, and reinforce the message of your video.

Non linear editing softwares are like language. We all communicate in the same way, but we might just speak our words slightly differently. If you know one software, you basically know them all... you just have to learn its language. Every top level workstation offers the same thing in different ways, so it comes down to your talent, time and willingness to learn the language of the software you are using. So don't go thinking you need the most expensive or the industry standard or whatever. There are plenty of pros out there making phenomenal work with free versions of things because they took the time to learn how.
