What's the best content strategy framework for your online goals?

If you are contemplating beginning your content creation journey or you are already there sharing your thoughts with the world but are struggling to make your mark. The 4 Cs Framework offers a streamlined approach to online content strategy, focusing on context, customer, content, and conversion. By addressing external factors like industry trends and internal factors like target audience demographics, it ensures content is relevant and drives desired actions. It's a concise yet powerful tool for online goal achievement.

First of all, define your overall KPI's. Business, communication and media KPI's. Then chose a framework that suits your goals best. The 4Cs can work but is not specific enough in terms of being actionable. It is a framework that would fit into almost every existing brand and does well as a topline strategy.

As a marketing coach, I find a slightly simpler formula can help fellow solopreneurs plan out their content. The 3P's: Problem, Provide, Persuade ? Problem - Create content that makes your ICA say "that's me!". Highlight pain points, share stories, show empathy and guide to your audience to seeing the root cause of their problem. ? Provide - Share content that educates your audience, presents a solution to their problems and establishes you as an expert. ? Persuade - Demonstrate authority, build trust and help your audience realize they want YOU to help them solve their problem. If your goal is to increase qualified leads, follow this content framework and you'll be golden!

The PASTA framework is more actionable than the 4Cs. It delivers a method for understanding your customers and (if)how you can help them. It is very customer centric which should always be a company's first priority. The challenge is, if you can't find a problem or can't deliver a solution to the problem.

It takes you through a whole circle of exciting steps, making you the hero of your own story. You face challenges, find friends, and overcome. It's fun and sticks in your mind. PASTA is like the quick guide. It's good too, it tells you there's a problem, stirs you up, shows a fix, makes you trust it, and asks you to act. But it's more like a list than an adventure. So, if you want to make stories that are unforgettable and fun, the Hero's Journey is your go-to!

The Hero's Journey can potentially be the most effective tool for any brand. Studies show that likeability and storytelling are the most valuable parameters for sales increase. Every brand should tell some story, but the challenge is doing it in a credible and trustworthy way, while at the same time driving results.
