From my experience, I think it's a combination of communication (there's a lot of advocacy and evangelizing), collaboration (needs to work with multiple and diverse teams), influencing (we need to be change agents), and learning (a sustainability professional needs to be continuously learning the new technologies, innovations, and navigate through different sectors and industries)

I’d say communication is key among them. We are in a time when there is a group of people who are aware of the situations and acknowledge them, but another subset of the population that doesn't believe at all. It's through communication and education that we engage with these individuals. Keeping an open mind and knowing effective communication without insult or alienation is pivotal to adding voices to the movement.

Erg?nzend zu den bereits genannten Soft Skills sehe ich 'Anpassungsf?higkeit' als wichtige weitere F?higkeit an. In der sich dynamisch wandelnden Welt der Nachhaltigkeit ist es wichtig, eigene Methoden kontinuierlich an neue Gegebenheiten anzupassen. Diejenigen, die sich leicht anpassen k?nnen, sind besser in der Lage, auf neue Einflussfaktoren einzugehen und sie in dynamische, strategische L?sungsans?tze zu transformieren. Ein empfehlenswertes Buch dazu ist "Warum Anpassungsf?higkeit die wichtigste Zukunftskompetenz ist" von Carl Naughton, leider bisher nur auf Deutsch erh?ltlich.
