IoT can be very useful for gathering building data. Especially in the world of reducing headcount's and occupancy in corporate buildings. The main danger is when data is gathered and nothing is done with it. I speak to so many people who have had a bad experience with IoT and have sensors but don't do anything with the data. If used correctly it can be very powerful and drive efficiencies and cost savings.

one other thing that stands is, drone technology, which can help in many ways, in Emergency situation, checking roofing system, monitoring assets conditions, checking cleaning condition at narrow and heighted places
