I feel it is just the artist that matters, and their understanding of "The Technique" Once you understand principles and processes, you can make wonders with even "MS Word". Lol Don't take my word for it on this MS Word thing. I know you understand its just for explanation. But the truth is still that, when you get the principle, you can use anything and make wonders. In my workflow, I do my building layout in Autodesk Revit, and export it to either Blender, Cinema 4D or 3ds Max for final detailed modeling, lighting, texturing and rendering, and it has worked for me. And it makes the work easy a and fast too. Know the software strength and use them.
