What are the tools and technologies that NOC teams use to monitor and enforce security policies?

The tool is not enough. It must be "polished" and "assembled" correctly and targeted to the team and its challenges. Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, Opmanage or whatever tool is being implemented, without proper training and preparation of the team to use it... It's nothing more than nothing. I add that in addition to preparing the tool for the network scenario that will be monitored, the team knowing how to use the tool, a good internal process within the NOC must be established. Always keeping in mind the KPIs created and implemented by the company.

I enjoy working with Confluence, a powerful network documentation tool that aids NOC teams in creating and maintaining accurate records of network infrastructure, topology, and security policies. It facilitates collaboration, compliance audits, and communication of network procedures. Other examples include Visio, Lucidchart, and NetBox, each offering unique features to streamline network documentation and management.
