Linkedin profile: If you are using your Linkedin profile to build a community, and every networking effort is met with silence, you have to look at your Linkedin profile objectively. Does it depict a serious business professional? Because to be approached by serious business professionals you have to present yourself as one.

I work with a lot of software developers who are either transitioning to a different specialty or on their way to bounce back from a layoff. While, the above are great ways to work through. One thing that a recruiting team. Must build through is a talent mapping network. Where they focus on research of talent pool.
