Whilst I agree that listening is essential, I have found from experience that many customer service agents who read messages from people are not adequately trained in managing disputes or de-escalating tensions. Therefore, disputes usually arise on social media because the people who have complained feel that their complaints have not been listened to properly.

Freedom of expression everybody's birth right.Any offensive message posted by unknown person simply ignore it. It is one of the best method to resolve the problem.

Avoid using automated reply features that direct people to contact numbers. This impersonal approach can further frustrate the customer. A genuine, human response demonstrates you're taking their complaint seriously.

If you sense the conversation heating up, consider suggesting a private message or a direct call to discuss the issue in more detail. This allows for a more productive conversation and avoids feeding the flames of a public spectacle.

While outlining a plan to address the concern is important, avoid making any promises you can't keep. Be clear about what steps you'll take and provide realistic timelines for resolution. This builds trust with the customer and avoids setting them up for disappointment.
