Totally agree right now there are some IDEs that makes easier to highlight differences and even make suggestions on the code clearness. Is also good to know the basic Git commands to check if there are not new changes on your request so you can adopt them without problem or conflicts .

While tools matter, it's extremely important to have a common process in a team. Good process will be the tool that reduces burden and lesses the friction within a team. It is important to have a build personal flow how to make the change to the end, and if you don't have one - follow the same flow as your engineering manager or the biggest contributor does. It will include tools of course, but it's just part of bigger picture

I would add that The feedback once received is always good to be sure that you have accepted the ideas and suggestions . So you can asimílate them and use them for your future work .

Giving feedback is like self-reflection. The reason I have said this is that we can only provide feedback if we understand the content or have difficulty understanding it. The same rule applies to almost all of the fields, such as graphics design, web design, blog posts, etc. What I need from the content I am watching or that is going to give feedback is my own perspective. Reading the feedbacks of other's review also might helps us to learn more about their strategies to solve problems.
