I would be including the industry experts of hospitality on the boards of studies that prepare the curriculum for the course. No doubt, the theoretical concepts of hospitality management can be prepared by the academic experts, but practical exposure should come from the industry experts. The industry experts should be invited to the colleges to deliver expert lectures, real case analysis and sensitise the students of hospitality about the skill set required for the aspiring professional in the field of hospitality. The institutional orientation should be dwarfed, giving priority to industry orientation while preparing the curriculum. The weightage should be given to hands on training about the hospitality sector, in awarding credits.

Real world internships are cost effective and better than any video or textbook. If schools do not have nearby partnerships, internships can also be done virtually.

A well-chosen internship program in schools can help an individual with their chosen career path, giving them a clearer idea of what exactly working in that field entails and adding value to a holistic education curriculum. The individual can then re-evaluate themselves and their goals regarding their performance during the internship period. We understand that finding opportunities can be challenging, so we're excited to offer the Internship Program to students from My Good School and GSA Member Schools who are nine years and older. It's a beautiful chance to gain valuable experience, and we welcome all interested students.

Since the hospitality sector is growing with a rapid speed throughout the globe, there will be a great demand for practical oriented professionals in the field. The students of hospitality management should be taught the practical nuances of the sector so that they can become action oriented graduates. Experiential learning gives the students a scope to understand and feel the real core of the hospitality, rather than mere knowledge intake. The students may be exposed to the analysis of real world cases, role playing, story telling, micro projects, industrial tours etc, in order to provide them the latest knowledge.

Experience of any workplace should be embedded weekly as part of their learning timetable. Here I see project based learning working hand in hand with career choice, development and experience as well being an incredibly inclusive approach for all learners. The consistent approach offers employers skills to support longer term growth and embed inclusive practices. Variety will bring about curiosity and unlock sustainable skill sets and how young people can use this to design thier futures. This is critical for those who may have barriers to such choices such as those exposed to the youth justice service, SEND and those accessing alternative provisions.

I do recommend the students of hospitality to adopt a model called Human Centered KSA The students should develop human centered knowledge pertaining to the hospitality industry. The knowledge of human relations and human needs/wants,satisfaction levels of consumers, customer delight in hospitality should be gained from 360 degrees. The students should develop human centered skills pertaining to the hospitality sector. They should master the managerial skills such as- planning, organizing, resource management, problem identification, problem solving,analytical, group dynamics etc. The Attitude of hospitality students must be of Empathetic. The students should develop a positive attitude of understanding needs and wants of customers.
