Meines Erachtens nach, ist es sehr wichtig, wirklich Vorlauf an Erfahrungen zu haben. Ich habe mir fünf Jahre Zeit gelassen, wirkliche Erfahrungen zu sammeln und auch technisch zu reifen. Es genügt nicht, einfach eine preiswerte gebrauchte Kamera zu kaufen. Wichtiger sind die F?higkeiten in Bildkomposition, Storytelling, Kameraführung und vor allem Arbeit mit den Protagonisten und Teammitgliedern. Aktuell ist der Markt zudem extrem schwer, da viele unerfahrene Jungfilmer nach dem Abitur mit Billigpreisen und kaum Erfahrung (au?er Insta) aufschlagen und damit den Markt nachhaltig sch?digen.

mira hay cosas que se deben tomar en cuenta, una de ellas es la experiencia y la capacidad de resolver problemas en el momento, otra es entender que ahora seras el todo de todo, recuerda te convertiras en una empresa, tu mismo seras tu imagen, tu mismo te venderas, aveces dicen que un buen trabajo te vende, y no es totalmente verdad, debes saber de marquetin, otra cosa debes ser paciente, aunq los clientes no tengan la razon tu debes saber manejar eso y por ultimo debes saber administrar tus finanzas cuidar bien de ellas. ahora mi amigo eso es pocision muy buena, ser emprendedor es genial me encanta y te deseo exito en esa nueva jornada

Relacionate con otros creadores, procura siempre estar disponible cuando te busquen, eso dice que eres una persona de fiar. Tendrás que decir que no a algunos planes personales, pero eso es el costo que hay que estar preparado a pagar para poder independizarse.

I just did this 2 years ago... The previous 2 years I banked almost a full year of salary(ate lotsa cornflakes). I learned as much as I could of the technology in the company. I became friends with vendors.. not just a customer. I redid my home workspace, separated personal from business goals. Found a good accountant. Updated my contact list...payed more attention to LinkedIn. I found a solid hobby to invest my free time to.(mental health) Picked a charity that I could help. Learned as much software as I could. Sent thank you notes to vendors and customers for their help and business. Stepped off the edge! No looking back!

Build strong relationships and don’t be an asshole. If you’ve got those two covered you’ll remain popular, always booked, first of mind and the go to option for many clients. Skills can be learned, attitude and personally go way further because without them no one will want to work with you. And be on time 100% of the time - that one doesn’t take any skill but makes a world of difference.

Hoy en día no requieres mucho para hacer trabajo freelance como creador de video. Una cámara que grabe 4K + lente, quizá un 24-70mm para tener un gran campo cubierto, un gimbal y una laptop para poder editar video. Si, esto sumado es una cantidad considerable de dinero pero de poco en poco puedes irlo obteniendo, pide prestado o réntalo al principio aunque tu ganancia sea menor, eventualmente llegarás al valor y podrás comprar tu equipo propio. Estos tres (cuatro con el lente) son los básicos que considero imprescindibles para iniciar una carrera freelance como realizador de video.

Tutorials gibt es massenhaft, auch zweifelhafte Trends... Aber gute Filmarbeit lernt man über Filme. Ich empfehle es, Filme zu schauen und genau zu schauen, was filmisch passiert. Die besten Werbespots sind beispielsweise sehr kinematische Geschichten. Und dann üben und kopieren.

La inspiración está en todas partes. Hay que ver todo con un ojo crítico y ver que puedes tomar, hacer tuyo y soltar lo demás. Mira tutoriales, vivimos en una época donde la información gratuita está por todas partes, en especial en YouTube.

You’re not going to be free. You’re going to realize that there isn’t that much video work out there and clientele will be hard to acquire. You’ll probably end up applying for corporate jobs again a couple of times. Pick another career. It’s not worth it. Especially as you get older.

La verdad es que muy probablemente vas a trabajar más de lo que trabajabas en tu trabajo "seguro". Esto no lo hace menos deseable pues estás trabajando para ti y en ti, tus metas y tu crecimiento personal. Esto en mi opinión, te hará querer esforzarte mucho más de lo que lo harías trabajando para alguien más.

You are only able to choose your projects if you have money saved up to do so. Be prepared to take on long hours for events that have little to do with your interest, but learn from them. This world is fascinating and freelancers get to work with many different personalities/conferences/events. Absorb and grow all you can as you go.
