What are some ways to use image warping to distort an object in a photo?

Image warping can be a really useful tool to fix perspective issues caused by not having a tilt-shift lens when shooting your photograph. When shooting wide angle landscapes, it's common for the mountains at the back of the shot to become smaller in the frame than your eye perceived them. Selecting that area of the image and pulling them up a little can restore the sense of scale and add back the feeling of size.

The best way to learn how to master the image warping technique is to spend time playing with it. Don't get too discouraged at first; it definitely takes time to master realistic image warping in your photographs.
