I approach my job with the Customer Service being the #1 priority. I try to instill this mentality in my team as well. If we all think of the customer first then the values flow easily throughout our team. Everybody is doing something that ultimately impacts the customer, so everybody on the team should serve the other team members with the thought process that what they need from me is for the customer. Therefore it is important and absolutely worth my time to serve them well.

The Front-End or Front of House has the best positions in the company for entry/learning level, when you have decided on which department you are planning to move to, learn how this department can satisfy the needs of the customers so you are able to give the department leads input/data. For example, if you are moving to: Marketing - Know which target market you should be focusing on to improve customer acquisition, retention, or referral. Sales - Know the RIGHT products and services you could offer to the RIGHT customer. R&D - Study which products and services you need to work on. Make sure that you learn and understand the ins and outs of the front-end, so when you move to your role, you are confident in addressing the different needs.
