One of my favorite ways to make transitions seamless is to have a go to “commercial reel” that the AV team can use as needed! A mix of status images with light music and videos relevant to the audience helps keep the energy up in the room during transitions, but also isn’t loud/interactive which allows attendees to take a quick mental break if needed in between content. We typically have a file that’s 30 min - 1 hour long (depending on the event), which is great because it allows the AV team to have it rolling as long as needed during transitions without putting a time crunch of a 2 min video on, or worrying about a song ending before they are ready! Which also allows for a more seamless attendee experience as well.

Es schafft innere Ruhe und eliminiert ggf. einige Fehlerquellen, aber man sollte dennoch auch auf das Unvorhersehbare vorbereitet sein: Dafür hilft ein Backup-Plan und ein erfahrenes, schnell-denkendes, agiles Team auf und hinter der Bühne. Doch das wichtigste ist Gelassenheit: Ihr Publikum sollte vom Trubel m?glichst wenig mitbekommen. Dafür kann es hilfreich sein, bspw. eine Pause oder einen anderen Programmpunkt vorzuziehen, und sich somit Zeit für eine Probleml?sung zu verschaffen.
Remember that you can instruct people. It's a simple thing, but so often forgotten at events. "Hi, in a moment we want you all to clap, as our next speaker goes on." "Now, imagine you're seeing a romantic movie and the couple is just about to finally kiss... now do the awww sound." "If you'll all stand over there and smile for a moment, we'll begin with a huge group smile." In our quest to produce great events, we have a tendency to forget this - that we not only CAN, but sometimes SHOULD instruct our audiences/participants/guests/etc. After all, if we want people to do something different, then the easiest way is to let them know, right? ;-)
Ensure that you’ve run through trials and checks before kick off and have a seamless run of show that accounts for every single moving part. Identifying staff/team members needed for each shift and cue and have outlined their responsibility and have provided all necessary clarity for this role to be upheld.
