What are some tips for architects to work effectively in a team environment?

Saber tus aptitudes y rol dentro del equipo. Trazar un flujo de trabajo correcto mediante una buena comunicación con tus compa?eros te puede ayudar para conseguir un resultado optimo y dentro de los plazos que se requiera.

La arquitectura no es distinta a la teoría básica de la comunicación: Emisor>mensaje>receptor. Para esto es vital tener un lenguaje (código) en común con el receptor del mensaje, así como también enviar este a través de un canal. Por eso, tan importante como el proceso de dise?o es el hecho de representar.

Planejamento é fundamental; planejar n?o só o que precisa ser feito mas também planejar a equipe. Definir as responsabilidades e tarefas de cada membro do time evita sobreposi??es e retrabalho. Fundamental também é que cada um contribua com sua experiência e expertise dentro do projeto, respeitando o espa?o de outros.

En mi experiencia puedo destacar 3 aspectos fundamentales para el éxito en el trabajo en equipo: 1.Conocer las habilidades naturales individuales del staff de trabajo con la intención de garantizar la eficiencia de su trabajo y desarrollo personal. 2.Controlar y regular los flujos de comunicación dentro y fuera de la estructura mediante el acotamiento de responsabilidades. 3.Crear y mejorar herramientas de carácter técnico y normativo que permitan la descripción, prioridad, dirección y pautas para desarrollar una actividad o propósito que deriva de un ordenamiento de mayor jerarquía (directriz)

The most important is to have clear information about the design brief , scope , the site information, any constraints and local regulations and resources. Next selection of the team and clear role each and every member and their contribution for the successful completion the project. The team leader should be able to take along all the members to achieve the desired goals.

An architect should familiarise with the different views or types of stakeholders they would need to interact with for successful delivery of a particular module . Each stakeholder needs to be catered to with a domain specific view point. This has been suggested in Togaf framework. If there is a discussion with Product Owner the outcome would be a High Level estimate or design . However when discussing with team members a detailed technical assessment is required to translate business requirements resulting in a Low level design document. With security team a threat model with STRIDE analysis should work . List is long and an architect should be able to present these views using the defined viewpoint for better clarity.

Ability to cooperate The ability to cooperate and coordinate with other team members is one of the effective factors in working in a team environment. Architects should listen carefully to the opinions and suggestions of others and cooperate with them if necessary. This helps team members coordinate with each other and find the best solutions to problems. Also, you should pay attention to two-way communication and listen carefully to the opinions and suggestions of team members and stakeholders. By doing this, you can improve your relationships with others and get closer to the success of your project.

La comunicación es una habilidad vital para los arquitectos, ya que les permite expresar y compartir sus visiones y soluciones de dise?o con diferentes públicos. Una buena comunicación requiere el uso de herramientas y métodos apropiados, como bocetos, modelos, dibujos, presentaciones, correos electrónicos, reuniones y sesiones de retroalimentación, para transmitir información de manera clara, precisa y atractiva. También requiere la adaptación del estilo de comunicación y lenguaje al contexto y al receptor, utilizando términos técnicos, visuales o sencillos según sea necesario. Además, requiere la comunicación frecuente y clara, para mantener la coordinación, la colaboración y la confianza entre los miembros del equipo y demás interesados

En effet d'après mon expérience il faut communiquer beaucoup a la fois pour avancer dans le travail collaboratif mais aussi permettre une cohésion d'équipe efficace et s'entraider.

This for me is the biggest most important point. Communication and understanding of tasks. Without this the whole project falls apart

Dans la plupart du travail en équipe il y a des désaccords et conflits mais aussi de bonnes personnes avec des compétences importantes et non négligeables. La difficulté est de faire la balance pour équilibrer toutes ses forces et faiblesses.

Architects should not be rigid or dogmatic in their approach . Since developers are knee deep in the application code , the insights they provide should provide the basis of any application design. The feedback provided by team will allow for more accurate estimates . Hence architects must strive for collaboration and not work in silos for major efforts to succeed. The setting up of a static analysis tool such as sonarqube will ensure adherence by team w.r.t coding guidelines, performance, code coverage and security.

t is very common for us to use informal means to communicate within the team, solve problems, etc. However, the ideal scenario is for this to be done through digital channels to streamline processes, delegate tasks, and monitor deadlines. Currently, we have some very interesting options such as Trello and ClickUp.

La liste de taches est efficace lorsqu'il est fait avec les personnes concernées parfois pour pouvoir leur demander le temps dans lequel se sera effectué. Il faut aussi une personne qui chapeaute l'ensemble du projet et ne prenne pas parti pris pour ne pas influencer les autres membres de l'équipe. D’où une bonne cohésion et communication.

Trabajar en equipo es una habilidad valiosa para cualquier profesional, ya que implica compartir ideas, recursos y responsabilidades con otras personas. El éxito o el fracaso de un proyecto depende en gran medida de la calidad y la cohesión del equipo. Por eso, es importante celebrar y aprender de la experiencia, reconociendo los aportes y logros de cada miembro, y analizando las fortalezas y debilidades del equipo. Que vous échouiez ou réussissez votre expérience s'est développer et vous avez appris des choses même sans le savoir, c'est plus tard que parfois on se rend compte de ses connaissances acquises donc cela n'est pas vraiment un échec mais plut?t une réussite qui ne se voit pas forcément.

In my experience, having a communication frequency, strategy and system also becomes a very important tool. This creates a balance otherwise team either over report/communicate or under, which needs extra efforts.

Working in multisectoral teams in architecture is always an intense challenge. from communication just to understand what you want, to specialty linked to purely technical aspects, which are not always transversal to everyone involved. When we are in front of people from the same culture it is much easier to find understanding. The problem arises when we have to work and communicate with professionals or clients from a completely different culture, where the rules, legislation, habits and customs are different. This is where human relationships and the ability to deal with adversity make a difference. It is one of the gaps in most of the education systems in the world.

One area that architects must focus on is the gradual removal of technical debt that have accumulated over a period of time in the products under their purview - strive for upgrading the technology stack to the latest versions . - retire legacy or custom authentication methods in favor of standard protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, WebAuthn for better security - Migrate to cloud native services for messaging, caching, secret management and file management - focus on improving code coverage.
