All very good points and vital to strong climate considered urban planning but don't discount the value of integrating forecast modeling into early design considerations Land-use forecasting undertakes to project the distribution and intensity activities in the urban area and ask questions related to future land use not stagnant understandings alone In practice, land-use models are currently demand-driven only and use limited aggregates based on information from economic forecasting activity. New model considerations must marry forecasted occupancy with geographic climate considerations as well as current and future infrastructure loads
