I’ve always been an advocate of custom hashtags. It’s important to use a strategy for them. For example, if you are going to use a hashtag to highlight your employees & want people to be able to tie that hashtag back to your campaign/employee recognition, customize it. (Add brand name / initials, etc in) You want people to relate that hashtag to your team/brand & ideally you want to be able to click on that hashtag & see the collection of all posts related to your efforts there. Others may also jump on board & adopt it. Your efforts then gain momentum & exposure. You can share the custom hashtag with your followers/clients etc. Using a “common” hashtag won’t allow that advantage. To reach additional audiences, add a 2nd “common” hashtag.

She is constantly going around and posting photos with employees and encouraging them. I’ve seen that snowball into really amazing levels of employee interaction on our socials.
