For instance, an Indian Professor could have them analyze how India's past election outcomes influenced macroeconomic indicators like GDP growth rates and stock market performance. Working on an article that examines the connection between economic indicators like GDP growth rate and Nifty 50's performance etc and outcomes of past elections can deepen their understanding. I have specifically quoted this example because India's Union elections are due in two weeks, providing a live context to apply their learning.

Yeah, but that's just like any other story. Visual help the storyteller, but if the storyteller sucks they do not provide much. However, it can be immensly useful to show scales. For example no one really know how much a trillion really is. If you visualize it, shoud how long it would be in 10$ bills, then it becomes much more tangible. For example, I was discussing some recent economic data that showed that American families have more money in their pocket since before the pandemic, but the people with whom i was speaking balked at that idea because they all felt the exact opposite. Economic data is incredibly valuable, but without asking questions and getting feedback, it can come across as "Ivory Tower" data that has no connection to reality.

Going through Economics college classes you learn on the buzzwords you should use to make yourself sound credible and smart. However when you speak with customers without an economic background those buzzwords are overkill. Use everyday language to get your point across. If you do have to use an economic buzzword include an explanation or question for your audience to aid in their understanding.

Repeating concepts in slightly different ways but using the same terminology is key. Repetition is pointless if we refer to stocks as shares, then equity then back to stocks again back to back. We only confuse non finance professionals.
