In my perspective, clarifying career aspirations begins with introspection. Assessing strengths, interests, and values alongside short-term and long-term goals is paramount. Defining success metrics and satisfaction indicators aids in gauging progress. For instance, an IT professional aspiring to transition into project management may identify leadership skills as a strength and express interest in stakeholder engagement. Setting a short-term goal of obtaining project management certification aligns with the long-term aspiration of leading cross-functional teams. Regular reflection on milestones achieved ensures alignment with personal and organizational visions, fostering career growth and fulfillment.

Los objetivos que nos tracemos desde lo personal y profesional hará que busquemos las mejores formas de llegar a las metas. En el camino analizaremos nuestras fortalezas y como potenciarlas y co o las debilidades convertirlas en fortalezas y oportunidades de mejoras. El que caminemos por la ruta correcta con ética y valores el sendero será más transparente y motivador.

Es importante identificar tus fortalezas e intereses, y como los intereses profesionales están alineados con estos pilares, parte de hacer un buen trabajo es disfrutar de lo que haces. No hay que olvidar el siempre estar en constante aprendizaje, pero no solo de tus habilidades fuertes sino también las habilidades blandas, quiero decir que no solo basta con ser buenos técnicos sino que se necesita saber mostrar de la mejor manera los resultados que logramos. Parte importante es formar una marca personal coherente, que se centre que transmita profesionalismo e influencia, este es un proceso constante no inmediato que se debe trabajar día a día.

I think the first step to identify the career aspirations is to know your "reason" behind the aspiration. Why did you aim for the particular career? Is it because of this profession usually awards so much money? you saw someone got succeed ? everyone will call you legend if you are in this career ? If any of the above is your reason, you may want to second guess about yourself and DON'T pursue the career. You should only purse a career when you yourself love the career, passionate about that. Not necessarily that if 99.99% people can success in a particular profession you will also become successful. You still may fail because you did not love the work responsibilities. And the totally opposite one can be happened as well.

Afortunadamente siempre existe aprendizaje que ofrece la academia y la industria pero para mi el buscar la oportunidad de participar en proyectos que se relacionan con mis intereses ha sido fundamental para crecer. Personalmente ese aprendizaje no solo ha sido tecnico sino que aprender nuevas habilidades no relacionadas con lo profesional me ha ofrecido nuevas prespectivas y formas refrescantes de mejorar mi organizacion e intereses, por ejemplo aprender a cocinar (con profesionales) o practicar deportes en naturaleza (con guias certificados) etc..
