Regularly revisit and revise goals as needed, incorporating both short-term and long-term objectives. Learning is a continuous process, so create a framework for ongoing improvement and growth.

Learning management plus the right motivation is the key to maximizing achievement, but in a predictable way. It is important that employee movement is within the company's strategy, to achieve strategic goals. When employees improve their performance, the company shares the result through motivation, but the result is a gain in speed and profit.

This is very important. Everyone has different psyche and value award accordingly. Few people like to be recognised publicly, some will prefer some certificate or some may want some goodie etc. Need to find out the motivation mechanism of your team members and award accordingly.

Sometimes, the littlest of things can bring the biggest impact, so during shoulder to shoulder work, having a leader recognize positivity and productivity within a team can lend dividends in workplace satisfaction.

I feel it’s very important for a leader/manager to be the biggest loudspeaker for their teams’ achievements on a regular basis and not just when rewards/recognition occasions are around the corner. This can be done in various simple forms such as sharing with the whole team when one of members has finished an up-skill training, asking some members to showcase or teach something new that they have learnt, dropping a msg or a mail on the group acknowledging effort etc. Recognising effort and providing visibility is one of the best ways to lift spirits and motivate your team to continue to learn further. It also helps them know that you as their leader are invested in their future.

Learning new things may be made part of yearly goals and also putting learnings into practice for organizational benefit should be part of annual appraisals. People who learn and put learning into practice for organizational benefit should be awarded more than people who just learn.
