Make sure to show the information relevant to the context. Overuse of progressive disclosure may lead to distrust of the platform. Hiding information like user consent, security info, personal detail sharing, etc. using a disclose pattern may lead to brand distrust. You can use this pattern for the second information, progress to complete any actions, etc.

With progressive disclosure, you can strike an easy balance between showing enough information for the user to complete their tasks and keeping the interface uncluttered.

Tinder has able to generate good fortune not just because of the features they offer but also because of the good user experience that they provide. Micro interactions are great way to communicate with end user about the expected behavior or goal. It gives lively delightful experience for the end user. Relevant products can also have sound interactions apart from digital effects such as gaming software product.

How it looks Default, On-hover, Selected, and Pressed. 2. Here are some ways to use microinteractions effectively: - Add animations to buttons to provide visual feedback when users interact with them. - Apply microinteractions to elements that users can hover over. Microinteractions are the subtle nod to the user that they’re on the right path. It's good to use close to real data because users can connect easily. Example - input field in forms. Real data helps users to understand the real scenarios.

Always use data close to real for true insights from the end user about the product or service. Something my students use lorem ipsum copy and fail to cover edge cases in the product. For example, How ll the long text look in this small card etc. So it's always advisable to use real data or context to test the prototype or ur product for effective insights or feedbacks.

Do not use Loren Ipsum anymore. In this day and age of ChatGPT etc, you can ask for realistic faux data of anything you want. Theres no excuse anymore for generic filler text.

Using real data makes your Design more impactful as well as more contextual. Although a few plugins give you free data [ Ex -Content Reel, ChatGPT ], it's not too useful when you give a Presentation to your Stakeholder or Developer team. Always go with actual data and try to create a User journey that makes it easy for everyone to relate and gain more problem insight you want to solve.

When you move from a low-fidelity wireframe to a high-fidelity prototype then you must use realistic data to use them on the user testing. Realistic data can stimulate users' behaviors and decision-making in a way that placeholders or lorem ipsum can't. If you want to create a user-friendly and engaging user experience then you must focus on using realistic data and content which matches the user's personal and testes. We as human beings always think of words. We associate every single word with something in our head. So by putting realistic data, we could trigger a certain sense of emotion. Incorporating user feedback is the foundation of developing meaningful interactions. My process always begins with user research to orient our team and refine what our goals are. By doing so, we challenge our assumptions early on, and create a space where users function more as co-creators rather than test subjects. Identifying such insights can help distill the key user drivers - what is the real tension users face that your product is solving? Once these pain points are crystallized, it's much easier to wireframe and prototype key moments of the user interactions which are then brought back to (ideally) the same users to continue the process of building and refining.

Gamification element such as rewards, ranks, points, etc can take your product or prototype to next level which can be motivating and bring satisfaction for the users.

In my experience as a Product Designer in a bank, Prototyping or wireframing specially, after making a solution is another important part of the Product Design. Wireframing as a simple journey of a product design steps is designed based on what I really did know the customers' attitudes. after this step, by prototyping we can set a certain journey that before lunching the product we can assess the product rote by user test while in a realistic atmosphere by some volunteers as a real users, to test the MVP in order to highlight the faults. These two step is the best way in order to test the product before launching and get the missed items that users need to know or experience.

Prototyping is like going for a test drive before booking your favourite car. It keeps you excited and know what to expect from the product. Prototyping is the most easiest and fastest way to spot errors in the functionality or look for any missing functionalities. The main goal of prototype is to make a non technical person that has zero knowledge in design and coding, understand what the product is all about. If the product makes sense to a non technical person, then it is definitely a very useful product and prototype is the way to find out. Creating a prototype is like looking at the product from a bigger picture. It is time consuming to go through every screen manually to check for errors and prototype makes it easy.

I think it’s time that we start standardising user interfaces. It’s confusing when the same options are named uniquely and are buried under different menus making it hard for users to get accustomed to each software that finally handles something as simple as payments or messaging. I feel it’s time for software to become like cars, prioritising ease of use over novelty.
