Working as an EIE consultant yields a lot of experience in a short amount of time, essentially being trial by fire. You are thrown directly into the mix with no remorse. Rewarding, but can mean your job or insane hours at all times. Contracting has many drawbacks in my opinion as well, and can lack many benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans. However, most contractors have overtime options, whereas regular employees can be exempt and ineligible for extra hours.

Hoje eu trabalho como um consultor, principalmente para testes e simula??o de tempo real de sistemas complexos, mas mesmo para os sistemas mais simples, ainda há muita demanda no mercado para consultores.
