How I'd Make My First $10K on LinkedIn using AI (If I Was Starting All Over Again...)

Everyone wants to make more money.

We can all agree on that.

But for most?

It’s about freedom.

  • Freedom to work when you want.
  • Freedom to travel around the world.
  • Freedom to spend more time with loved ones.

Given you're reading a newsletter called FreedomFriday??

I can assume you are this type of person.

The good news?

AI (and I) can help you reach that freedom.

(At least with the process I’m about to share with you)

  • Free up your energy.
  • Make you more money.

How You Can Make Your First $10K on LinkedIn Using AI:

Freedom awaits you...

Today we are focusing on one specific digital product.

Courses.

Why?

I made $30K with courses in my first 6 months of LinkedIn.

It was the simplest way for me to see if this whole "digital economy" was legit or not.

(Good news for you, it totally is!).

Knowing that, my successes will help you create your first two courses and make money.

Why two courses?

  1. The first is your lead magnet.
  2. The second is your paid product.

You need the first to generate enough trust to sell the second.

Here are the 6 steps I would take today to recreate The LinkedIn Leverage (My Free Course) and The LinkedIn Solopreneur (My Paid Course - Currently unavailable as I'm creating a better version called Brand OS ), using AI to 10X the speed…

  1. ChatGPT to create the outline and slide details
  2. Gamma to create the course visuals
  3. Recording with Vimeo.
  4. Editing with AI.
  5. Give away.
  6. Sell.

Before we dive into this, this will assume that you know the following:

  • Your personal brand's specific niche.
  • Your audience's main pain points.
  • Your unique point of difference.

Why?

  • You need to know what you are all about and why people should care.
  • You need to understand what problem these courses are solving.
  • You need to sell your unique solution in a competitive market.

How do you find this if you don’t have it yet?

Simply see what posts of yours have the most likes and engagement, and also the questions you get asked the most either in comments or DMs.

Now starting with...

1) ChatGPT to create the outline and slide details

At first we are going to use AI to create one big course.

The reason is this course in its entirety needs to actually solve a problem.

We then split this course into a Basics and Advanced.

Basics = Free Course

Advanced = Paid Course

So the first step is to prompt ChatGPT-4o (Paid Subscription) with the following:

“You are a Professional Course Consultant. Please ask me questions one at a time for you to understand the course and solution I am creating for my LinkedIn audience, as well as making sure that it has a unique selling point that doesn’t exist in the market”         

It will begin with one question like, “What is the main topic or focus of the course you are creating?”

Go back and forth until it feels satisfied it knows enough about your course.

Then prompt it with:

“Now that you have all of this information please act like a Professional Course Creator, and create a comprehensive course outline with detailed dot points explaining each section, and each slide.”         

Then prompt it with:

“Please separate each slide with "---" between them”        

(This is to prepare it for the next part)

Then prompt it with:

“Separate these slides into two 30-slide presentations (including title slides) that present the Basics in Deck 1 and Advanced in Deck 2”        

Then prompt it with:

“Now download each deck into its own DOCX files”         

It will generate 2 links for you to download each deck.

2) Gamma.app to create the course visuals

Simply create an account at Gamma.app .

(You’ll need a PRO account to create 30 slides)

Then follow the instructions to create a presentation and upload the document from ChatGPT.

Choose “Import file or URL on the right”

Then “Upload a file” on the left. This is the DOCX from ChatGPT

You will then see this prompt editor.


Make sure that each slide is still separated by a “---” and then click generate.

It will get you to pick a theme. Choose the one closest to your personal brand colour palette.


It will literally write the entire deck for you like so…


From here all you have to do is make sure what it says is correct and then insert your personal data, anecdotes and knowledge to make it 100% unique.

3) Recording with Vimeo or Loom

With the slides now ready, create a Vimeo account to record yourself presenting the slide deck. You’ll need a pro account since the video recording will be long.

Click “Both” and then “Start recording.”

Click “Present” in Gamma.

And go for it!

Do this same process for the second deck as well so you have two complete courses.

4) Editing with AI

Once you are happy with the recordings for both the free & paid courses, Vimeo has an editing feature called “Text-based Trimmer” for its recordings that allows you to remove all the pauses and filler words with AI.


It will first transcribe the entire video, and then you can click this icon with the red dot.

All you have to do is click “Remove” for both the Gaps and Fillers and you’re done!

5) Give away

Now that you have your free course ready to go, give it away to your community by making your LinkedIn or social media page a Landing Page for this lead magnet.


Make it the only option that someone has when seeing your page.

That way you minimise decisions and maximise course takers.

Use ConvertKit to accept emails, and then give away your course.


You can simply link the course as a Vimeo share link (unlisted) for speed to value.

6) Sell

Once you build up enough of a student base from the free course you can then advertise the paid course through your email list and gather new leads in a new form on your website or via ConverKit’s branded mini website it gives you.

Create buzz around the paid course by creating a new list of early students to get an early bird discount of some sort as well.

Then once you have enough people on this list, launch your course and put it behind a paywall like Stripe.

That’s it!

By following these steps, you’ll have both a free and a paid course ready to share with your audience.

The free course builds trust, while the paid course generates income.

With AI tools, you can streamline the process, saving time and energy, and focus on delivering value to your audience.

Once everything is set up, use your LinkedIn or social media pages as landing pages to promote your courses, and start building a community of learners.

When you’re ready, launch your paid course and watch your efforts pay off!
